Hi there,

I already posted in the french MacBidouille forum but there was no one able to give me further information-
so I try it here, too.

I have a Powerbook Pismo ("Firewire") with a G4 7410 upgrade card installed.
This card is overclocked to 600 MHz just by resoldering the PLL resistors, it still runs cool and fairly reliable but crashes sometimes under heavy load.

I want to increase the core voltage of the processor and the voltage of the L2 cache to get it completely stable but don't know the specifications and positions of the according jumpers.

Is there anyone who can help me?

It seems that there are not much G3 Powerbook overclockers left!?!

Best regards,

Tim.

I have a old Pismo upgrade laying around somewere here "these were the days" biggrin.gif
It's a G3 900Mhz that ran just fine and stable @ 950 for about two years before it stoped cooperate. The death of that card was a very traumatic experience 4 me, and I slaughtered my lovly Pismo, sold the parts and got a 1.67Ghz PB-G4 with much less soul.

You will love this site:

Good luck! smile.gif
