As we announced it this morning, Steve Jobs is indeed in Paris, his jet landed in Le Bourget Airport (Thanks to Justin and TF340 as well as Paul M-H for the photos below). It was 10h25 when Steve Jobs walked on the French ground.

Just wondering if Steve, didn't just arrive for the launch, but to do some hands on testing with T-Mobile and O2
networks himself?

In the meantime, I saw reports of how the UK launch was fairly low key. Here in Ireland there was no iPhone, not even a glimpse of a poster. But, at least we learn that there may be a SIM-free model for Europe, after all.

at first, i was wondering what kind of mod was done on a G5 machine. hahaa! how wrong i was. then after it loaded partially, i was thinking ... could this thing be running on a G5? of course that flew out of my mind almost immediately too. hahaa!
