According to Digitimes citing a Chinese newspaper, Apple would be ready to upgrade the new iPad, while it is only a few months old.
The upgrade would, without much surprise, concern the display as it would feature an IGZO display. This change would provide a better battery life while making the device thinner.

Apple, by launching this model, would simply do what was planned at first as there are many rumors according to which the new iPad was just the back-up plan that was retained at the last minute since Sharp was unable to mass produce these IGZO displays.

This new-new-iPad could be launched this fall. Of course, this is still only rumors but it will probably upset all the people who invested in the current model. It is very possible that Apple will launch the upgrade very quietly, as it was the case for the Mac many times. After all, the name 'new iPad' is general enough to stay true even after the upgrade.

It is disgusting what Apple is doing to the consumers by promoting every few months a new gimmick with this i pad. This is just for making money which Apple is really being greedy about. It never ends does it!

Vivre le capitalism.

In fact if Apple does not do that, others will take more marketshare. Or this is proof that something is not totally in agreement with Apple quality control, so they are running to release an update. Unfortunately, 50% of the consumers that buy an item during a year, will run the risk of buying it before it becomes updated.

So do you think this is justifiable for Apple to manipulate the consumer like that?
