- Power nap, a new feature that will allow the computer to perform certain tasks while the Mac is sleeping, such as Updates, iCloud sync, etc. These tasks will be light enough to be accomplished without having the fans running so you don't get disturbed by the noise. (compatible only with the 2nd Generation of MacBook Air and the Retina MacBook Pro, meaning only the laptops that only come with SSDs)
- Integrated AirPlay for both music and video mirroring.
- Game Center, another App adapted from iOS.
