finally updated! i'm still very much a fan of CCC (over the now more popular SuperDuper) simply because i've started with that and grown used to the UI. ok not to forget i still use really ancient macs by today's standards. anyway, just to bring the news that CCC has released a beta version and good to see them back in development once more! kinda a sign for me to upgrade again haha. hopefully the new iMacs come soon though i'm still wanting to get the Pro macs instead. oh well. |

I'm very excited too. I've been a CCC user since the very first release. It looks like it finally has the one thing I still wanted which is the ability to go down the file hierarchy to select what to backup and not.

I prefer Super Duper. It seems to be more reliable. Heard some people complain about data loss occuring with ccc. Super Duper's just fine
