Rather than to have to run behind the iPhone as the mobile phone makers have done for more than two years, the famous brands of computers decided to precede or follow Apple in to the market of the Tablets. This is the case of HP, and various Chinese manufacturers who anticipated by several months as these products show. 







After all, one does not have particular technical difficulties to make a Tablet. It is enough (to be brief) to have a screen, a battery, and the ATOM platform and not much else. But it is not certain that this is sufficient to make it a success. It is not us who say this but the chairman of Acer in Taiwan. According to him, it will not be enough to offer a Tablet to make it a success. He thinks that future success of Apple in this niche market is precisely to create this niche, a thing that it will be difficult to compete for the other manufacturers of similar products.
To summarize, iPad will be able to have a success that will be impossible for others because Apple does not just offer a Tablet, but a complete and self-sufficing ecosystem. Acer even though the world number 1 will thus not launch out in this market, at least for the moment.
