One of our "sources" has indicated that he has more and more problems obtaining a supply of the Mac mini from Apple.
With a little bit of luck (but we have already said this many times) Apple could have finally decided to update this machine that we particularly appreciate. It would find a new youth and would cause a new passion if it were equipped with more powerful processors Core 2 Duo and why not also with the GMA X4500 which would give a crack of the whip to the 3D graphics. We will keep our fingers crossed. [translation by crispin] |

hopefully a complete redesign and rethink? Take a clue from Lacie and get the Porsche team to redesign the
case (or even rubberize it for portability); add a docking slot for iPod/iPhone; work with Nvidia or ATI on supplying decent graphics. That's my take. It will be interesting to see what they come up with, in the end. |

New design, may be, but an updated machine. Newest processor (socket P), new graphic processor is my main concern.
The previous design is OK, it must stay compact as today if any extension are impossible to do. In other case, with more standard components (HDD, DVD, etc), it will look like the "cube" or a barbonne. |
