Anyone having trouble with devices plugged into a pci usb card not showing up after the computer goes to sleep. I have a Quicksilver 2002 with a GD 1.8 G4 with a Belkin usb 2 card. I have never had any problems with this card until Leopard. I have to restart after sleep for any devices to show up on the card.

It might be also good to report, that their USB2 card seems to have problem with Leopard. |

I checked with Belkin, but there is nothing posted there. My card doesn't even show up in their support docs. I'll try contacting them.

the problem i faced with the upgrade GD CPU back then was the monitor issue. i couldn't sleep and wake it immediately. if i did so, it would result in a black screen and no way could i get the screen to wake except with a reboot.
USB devices didn't work all the time, however with a simple sleep and wake, it worked again. i've no idea what was wrong, but since i found a way to manage the issue, i just lived with that (till now). note: this is all with 10.4.x not 10.5 |

I contacted Belkin and was told the card was not compatible with Leopard. I can't figure out why that would be a problem. xlr8yourmac.com readers have posted that a lot of usb2 cards don't work. Apple needs to fix this.
