Update on the fun:
http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/4953/picture3kt1.png

Another update:
Those interested in the loot (comprises of 3 pre-registered apps), just let me know. I should think it is alright to share them as it isn't indicated anywhere that I can't do so.

1) Assignment Planner
2) Chat Transcript Manager
3) Soulver

do a macupdate or vt search on them if you wanna know what they do. otherwise, for convenience, this is the summary which i just copied from mh.

Assignment Planner
Assignment Planner is an application which allows you to keep track of homework assignments for a number of different courses. It includes features that allow you to display only those assignments that are yet to be completed, add information to all your assignments, courses and textbooks for reference, filter assignments by their type, and much more. You can also export your assignments to a text file or to iCal, to easily view your assignments from your iPod.

Chat Transcript Manager
Chat Transcript Manager will index all of your iChat, Adium and Fire chat transcripts and allow you to find what you need in a snap. Chat Transcript Manager is robust and powerful, supporting blazingly fast search, dynamic chat updates, full Address Book support, picture management, and custom transcript themes.

Soulver
Soulver is a new kind of calculator application which allows you to do maths using plain English phrases. It also features a simple interface, an instant calculation engine, constants, functions, statistics and more. Soulver makes working with numbers on your Mac much easier than on paper, or on the back of the envelope.

For those who are interested in the 3 sharewares (see cheerful's post above) available for free once you've finished the heist, there is only one day left wink.gif

Apart from the 3 sharewares, there're 2 more "easter eggs" check the memo (this one is a full game worth 15 i think) and click on the dynamite (kinda dumb one though).

What do you want to know?
MacHeist is a quest where you gain some sharewares for free as well as rebate coupon for another one (at the end of the game).
You have to read the briefings and do what is requested to obtain your gifts.
And don't forget to click on the dynamite tongue.gif

Yeah, the final bundle is impressive!
The list is here: http://macheist.com/
In short, it contains:
- Delicious Library
- FotoMagico
- ShapeShifter
- DevonThink Personal
- Disco
- RapidWeaver
- iClip 4
- one Pangea game at yoru choice (Enigmo 2, Bugdom 2, Nanosaur 2 ou Arcade)
- NewsFire (depends on the number of buyers)
- TextMate (depends on the number of buyers)

I got it for 49$ - 10$ from the heists = 39$ smile.gif
The bundle is available for 1 week smile.gif

By the way, 25% of the sales are going to charity at your choice between 8 (or a mix of them if you want) . What a good idea smile.gif

PS: my bundle is the #58 tongue.gif (I was pretty fast wink.gif )

You can still buy it, even if you didn't participate to MacHeist.

It is just that you're going to pay 49$ instead of my 39 wink.gif

But anyway, 49$ is pretty cheap for all this stuff smile.gif

actually, Cri-cri and others, I suggest that one of you purchase the bundle. I did so, hence the price per bundle is actually 30 USD for 8 confirmed apps. DO NOTE, the last 2 apps (i.e. Newsfire and Textmate) will only be ava. if the target(s) is/are met respectively.

my opinion is of that the target will be achieved (give the time frame till X'mas and not just 1 week).

p.s. I was no. 28 if I'm not mistaken. haha Too bad I don't qualify for the free ones ... ... sigh.

I got my bundle (almost at the same time than you considering my bundle nbr wink.gif )

How did you get the bundle for 30$ ?

The regular price is 49$ and with the 5 coupons of 2$ I got from the Heist, it became 39$ for me.
Did I missed something? blink.gif

The answer and a mystery gift to the first XX to contact me:

The number is a mystery (i.e. XX), so let's see who'll be the lucky ones to catch me online and at my mac on AIM/iChat. I'll need your First and Last Name, Address (i.e. Street, City, Country and Postal Code), Email, Contact no. to register the app. in your name.
