Does anybody know if newest MacBook Pro's implement PCI Express 2.0 bus standard ratified in January?
It would allow to run Windows with almost full speed under virtualization software like Parallels. |

Hello Mark there is not PCI-Express 2.0 support in Santa Rosa, it should come with Penryn in 2008. the new MBPro use the PM965 chipset: http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/pm965/index.htm future MB on santa Rosa will probably use the GM965: http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/gm965/index.htm |
