35 models of Ultrabook available within 30 days, 07/06/2012 - Your reactions

At Computex, the main computer expo held in Taiwan, many computer makers decided to unveil their upcoming lineup of Ivy Bridge Utrabook. 
Intel, which has been pushing for that market to emerge announced that 35 models would be available within 30 days, showing that there is a market and that it is growing. Intel plans to have 110 models available by next year, which will further diversify the market.
Of course it is still unknown whether customers will follow, but there are good chances of seeing that happening now that more and more models are priced under $800.


Also, it is not clear what impact these new Utrabook devices will have on other markets. Intel hopes that it will impact the tablet market, but there are good chances that these new thinner devices replace bigger laptops.
