The vietnamese website tinthe published some information on the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy SIII, the future competitor of the iPhone 5. Below are reported specifications:


  • Display super AMOLED 4,6" 720 x 1184 (320 DPI),
  • 4 core CPU clocked at 1.4 GHz,
  • 1 GB of RAM
  • 16 GB of Flash storage + micro SD slot,
  • 8 megapixels camera
  • 2050 mAh battery


Engadget posted q video of the forthcoming device: http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/20/galaxy-s-iii-leak/.
It will most likely directly compete with the iPhone 4S, as well as the iPhone 5. Its success could also modify the roadmap of the iPhone 4S successor, an earlier release could be initiated if the Galaxy SIII is very successful and makes Apple loosing market shares.
