According to the latest reports from Net Application, the arrival of the Safari 4 beta has sent the browser to above a 10% market share in the United Stated for the first time. This figure, obtained in the last few days of February, will have to be confirmed during March in order to know if the infatuation with the new beta is real or if it is only due to curiosity, as was the case with the first beta for the PC. Of equal note, the Mac market share has stopped rising for the first time in a long while, going from 10.04% in January to 9.71%. It is certainly past due for the iMac to be updated, which could perhaps even arrive tomorrow. The inventory of these machines seem lower than ever. [translation by jwa] |
