Adobe Reader 8 is out and available for download here

Please note that Adobe Reader 8 is not Universal Binary... but don't worry, it is available for PowerPC and for Intel but in 2 separate versions!

Something funny though, the installer of the Intel version is PowerPC only laugh.gif

Am I safe to assume the installer of the PowerPC version is Intel only then?

In fact, it is just a matter of cost & resources saving!
Adobe knows that Rosetta is on all Intel Macs so having only one installer for both products is cheaper rolleyes.gif

Nope, technically, Adobe Reader is not UB.

UB means that you have both codes in the same app.

Here, we have 2 versions, one PPC and one Intel wink.gif

ic ic. i always had the impression that UB just indicated that the software has native Intel coding in (actually ... it is what u said "UB means that you have both codes in the same app" haha)

but i believe it'll be a long time before any app would go Intel code ONLY, if they ever would do so.
