According to China Business News, Foxconn might have started producing the first batch of prototypes of the long rumored Apple TV set. It might well be even more than prototypes, in fact first samples to validate manufacturing process and procedures. If this is true, it would mean that the hardware for the TV set is probably ready and it could be found in shops in couple of months.
WE are curious to now what would be the choice made by Apple for the LCD panel, LED vs. OLED, as well as the interface of this TV set, its functions and the way we will control it. We would be surprise if it is entirely based on Siri, or it would have to be an option. By linathael, original by Lionel |
