In the north hemiphere, Apple organizes the "Back to School" campaign, right before the release of new iPod models. In hte south hemisphere, such campaign is roganized during "our" winter. Ruus, one of our reader sent us an interesting note:

Anxious to see when the next 2012 Mac mini comes out and what will be the advatange over the 2011 model.
