The UK carrier Vodafone seems to have made a mistake and released some information about the forthcoming iPhone 5 on its website.
![]() AS indicated in the list of femtocell-compatible mobiles, there 4 four reported models of iPhone 5: black and white, 16 or 32 GB of storage space. This mistake could also be a smart way to indicate to current and future customers that Vodafone will have the iPhone 5 soon. Concerning the mentioned capacity, some readers might think that this is not enough, and doubling it might have been expected. However, in such case, Apple needs would have pushed price of Flash chips up and make the company more dependent on Samsung production lines. Makes me wonder when 64 GB versions will become available…
I am always having to decide what to miss off to fit into 32 B… But I guess that the issues are: 1: Size - trying to fit it all in 2: Power - extra Flash RAM would consume more power 3: Price: – adding more Flash Ram would increase the price But I was hoping that with component size shrinkage - More Memory might become available… I guess they are hoping that we will put more stuff into the cloud – so that we can then be charged to access it… |

They've obviously had their knuckles rapped by Apple as the list has now been amended. There's no mention of iPhone 5 there now.
