Hi All,

I'm Lexa, new on this side of the forum (been on the french side a few years now).
But I moved to brighton and just got a new Macbook. Enough with boring stories, let's get to the point:

What website do english people use to get mac accessories such as Hard drive enclosures and stuff?
I ran a search but did find anything relevant. I'm sure you guys can point me in the right direction.

Oh, while I'm at it, the thing I'm looking for is a HD enclosure for using my Powerbook's Hard drive. I need firewire as I might use it as Clone host.

Many thanks in advance

Cheers English Bidouilleurs! cool.gif

PS: will sort out avatar and stuff soon.

hi there lexa!
for me, i would browse at the usual macsales.com and my current local computer stores.

for hdds, enclosures and parts. i will check out newegg.com, outpost.com, frys.com and there's the pretty niffy site called dealmac.com i think.

wiebetech.com has some premium offerings too.

That the big task will be to compare all that !:p

Also, while I'm at it, do you know if any of the above mentionned sites will also offer the kit to open à PowerBook? unsure.gif

Hahaha, funney enough, I had to wake up at 11 on a hangover to get my broadband stuff from the post office. I hit a carboot sales on the way back, and after a real random wander, I found a set of screw drivers for computer.... at least i got this sorted!

a bit off topic, but I felt like sharing
