Sad news!

Hi, just read today about the settlement between Apple and Think Secret.

Personally I think it is a little bit sad that Apple has to play things this tough!
It reminds me of the celebrities that complain about the lack of private life and blame the paparazzi for that.
Without those paparazzi they would not be famous and to a certain degree the same goes for Apple!

Yes, Apple has great design and OS, but the company would not be what it is today without its fans and followers, and the sites around the Mac! If there are rumors being published on these sites it just helps Apple as the hype for a new product increases.

Now, that Apple has done the same thing the celebrities do, try to regulate to much what the pages are allowed to write and what not. I don't think Apple is doing itself a favor by shutting down think-secret.

I know that the law suit against think-secret is the reason why hardmac is not publishing rumors anymore and I understand it, but I don't understand Apple, yes they are successfull but they have to be careful not to risk what Apple stands for.

No one has the luxury to forget where they came from...
