Apple promised MobileMe users that their accounts would be open until June 30th 2012. In order to still incite them to use iCLoud, the company will offer 20 GB of extra space in addition of the first 5 GB to those who will switch before the end of MobileMe. On July 1st 2012, they will be charged the regular $40 if they wish to keep those 20 GB.
However, it is not clear how MobileMe users will be able to make any use of those extra 20 GB as iCLoud doesn't include an iDisk. By Machmeter, original by Lionel |
