The iPad version of iPhoto is a rather efficient software for the iPad, and can help you to quickly edit your photos. however, as it requires some CPU power, Apple decided to make to restrict its installation on the iPad 2 and the New iPad. You can nevertheless install it on the first generation iPad.
AppleInsider described the procedure with iPhone Configuration Utility for Mac OS X, a Pro-oriented application used to quickly deploy applications on many iDevices. We did not perform the test, so if you want to report about performance of iPhoto on iPad, let us know. We can predict that the application will be slower and applying filters will be slower too.
