hello juan

I am going to check wit hthe other team members
could you place here the complete error message obtained after the hardware test is completed (simple text file, zipepd, and attached to your next post)

does you MacPro switch off after making a lot of mise during couple of minutes?
could hte noise be generated by the fans suddenly turning at full speed?
I suspect a problem on CPU, overheating that would induce fans to go full speed, then automatic security included in the CPU switch off the computer.
one way to confirm this hypothesis would be to monitor the temperature of CPU and rotation speed (with some freeware or shareware: iStat Pro, or hardware monitor, etc...)

The MacPRo sleeps working normally, even just with safari.IThink the noise is generated by the fans.
The message is

ok
you know what is wrong smile.gif
the third fan does not spin!
so it is either blocked by a wire or something else, it is either broken or not power/unplug, but in all cases you will have to open up the side panel of your MacPro end ensure that that the third fan looks ok: both powered and no damage preventing it to spin.
then you will have to call AppleCare for having it fixed, either sending the complete unit back or only exchanging the fan.

open the MacPro as explain on Apple website or in your manual, the same way if you wantedd to add Hard drive.
then while having it open, and running check which fan is not spinning, that's should not be a problem I think.
other wise ask iStat Pro developer to tell you which fan corresponds to fan3 in his widget.
good luck
