While Intel is promoting Thunderbolt, the company still did not release a motherboard natively equipped with such port. This is now done:
![]() The first Intel motherboard to feature a Thunderbolt port will be a high-end model, as the integration will lead to a 15 Euro premium. this is the strategy used by Intel to progressively push this format among its products, starting from the high-end products and then add Thunderbolt later on by default into its next generation motherboards.
