Hi
Since yesterday I use an Imac. I was configuring my mail. ( that is easy to do) But some problem occurs in apple mail version 3. I have 3 imap boxes on the same mail server. Problems is that this server does not allow more then 3 or 4 connections from the same ip. So I configure my 3 boxes but the application starts to say that I cannot reach the server after browsing some folders. I am positive the problem is due to the number of connections. Apple mail is using too much connections. Before I used thunderbird. There I could modifiy the maximum number of connections with a server. Is that possible in apple mail ? Or is it better to use another mail client. Any help would be great as I have searched the web but did not get an answer to this question. What to do ? |

This appears to be similar to what this other user experienced. You may like to look into this other thread (a potential fix). source: Mac OS X Hints i hope the above can solve your current issue. |
