The new version of Aperture has been given functionality from iPhoto - but not quite. There is no real "facerecognition" just "facenaming". While in iPhoto the application suggests who is who, my upgraded, newly bought V3 does not... even if it is promised like this by Apple:
Aperture 3 expands and enhances the face detection and recognition technology introduced in iPhoto, letting you manage and organize photos by the people in them. No such thing... http://www.apple.com/no/aperture/whats-new.html ...might be though that an upgrade is needed to activate theese, must be, hidden features. Olav N. |

I am surprise because a team member seemed to be quite happy with the way face recognition was working in Aperture. I will ask him to have a closer look at it. |
